Greccia

Ariston is the capital of the Greccian colony, located on Calliope. Controlled by the wealthy and powerful, those who can afford to live higher up hardly notice the corruption of political officials, or the struggles of ordinary citizens below them. Greccia thrives after dark, coming alive in the night and into the early morning hours.

The Achilleion Towers are unique structures that loom up over those around them, home to only the most exclusive clubs, bars, restaurants, casinos, and gentlemen's lounges in Ariston. Each floor is rented out to different venues and only the wealthiest of these rent out the top few floors. Security is surprisingly tight and guests are escorted to the level they will be visiting for the evening. It is very difficult to move between the different floors without an all access badge.

Scenic beauty is met with a stunning staff at Aphros Resort, a seaside resort owned and operated by one of the wealthiest companies on Greccia. Aphros welcomes potential clients to stay at one of their many ‘guest houses’ in hopes of securing a future business arrangement. What, exactly, Aphros does business in isn’t exactly clear.

Most of Greccia’s working class lives on the Mid, scraping by as they can. People get creative when it comes to paying the bills and prostitution is very legal. Strip clubs and bars are found on every block, drugs can be acquired easily—everybody knows a guy and can hook you up for the right price. Most of the work here is industrial manufacturing and menial labor.

The bottom of the food chain finds itself at street level in the Greccian colonies. Crime is badly policed by authorities, but finds order under the countless gangs and criminal families who have taken over the lower levels. Thousands of tourists are abducted each year and sold into human trafficking if they are so unwise as to wander down to these levels.
